Named after the ancient Roman city in Algeria, the Timgad Vase brings architectural boldness to contemporary interiors. With its sculptural silhouette and playful spikes, this handcrafted piece nods to the enduring strength and urban order of classical design. Made for those who appreciate both history and humor, Timgad is as much a statement as it is a vessel, that adds a sense of rhythm, texture, and irreverence to any setting. The matte green finish intensifies its tactile quality, while the elongated neck gives it a distinct graphic appeal.
Designed to stand alone or pair with other sculptural forms, Timgad is as much a piece of art as it is a functional object.

Timgad is the name of an ancient Roman city in present-day Algeria. Founded by Emperor Trajan around 100 AD, Timgad (originally called Thamugas) was a military colony and later became a prominent Roman settlement in North Africa.
Today, it’s known for its incredibly well-preserved ruins, including a grid-planned street system, a grand arch, a theater, temples, baths, and mosaics — offering one of the clearest insights into Roman urban planning outside Italy.
