Fundamental look at patterns and forms that occur in the natural world; adapting and playing with them as a starting point for all of their designs. The final touch is given by the user, making it his or her own. The Fundamental Design Team work with natural materials such as European oak, Douglas Fir, pure sheet metals, as well as some surprising new materials and processes. All products are manufactured in small factories that the Fundamental Team know well.
