Fine Art Print – “Ich habe mich zum Fressen gern” by Sandro Santalucia
This fine art print is based on the original work “Ich habe mich zum Fressen gern” by Sandro Santalucia (b. 2000, Rosenheim). Santalucia studies Intermedia with a focus on artistic research at the UzK - University of Cologne. His paintings address existential questions, inner states, and elusive emotions, transforming them into a visual language that is both concrete and abstract.
The work is part of the series “Sogno ed Ebbrezza” (Dream and Intoxication), which explores the tension between order and chaos, instinct and reason, as well as excess and mindfulness. His figurative paintings are inspired by impulses and mental images, often prepared through photography and digital collages before being translated into painterly compositions.

more information
The series “Sogno ed Ebbrezza” (Dream and Intoxication) refers to Nietzsche’s concept of the tension between the Apollonian and Dionysian as the foundation of creation, existence, and becoming. It explores what happens when we allow ourselves to be guided by something greater: order and harmony meet chaos and excess, reason meets instinct, mindfulness meets passion. Within this field of tension, the paintings capture fleeting inner states – between clarity and dissolution, distance and surrender
