Gunta Wool Blanket by Michele Rondelli & Sophie Probst
“Gunta” finds its inspiration in the age of Bauhaus and the work of the creative director at the weaving department of Bauhaus in Dessau: Gunta Stölzl. The plaid is a homage to her outstanding work that translated modern art into textiles. Light and bright colours and geometric forms are the typical components of her work, reflected into this wonderful wool blanket. A beautiful tribute to the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus!
The ZigZagZurich Artist collections celebrate the applied arts and are woven in New Zealand wool. These blankets have been created in collaboration with a global roster of artists and ZigZagZurich to add something entirely Unique to your home. By the way: they make great ponchos or picknick blankets too ; )
