The CoopDPS Gate Blanket is part of a new cooperative collection by Nathalie Du Pasquier and George Sowden - two internationally recognized designers, who are best known as founding members of Memphis, the Italian group that changed the idea of design forever with the first Memphis exhibition in Milano, 1981. The work of Du Pasquier and Sowden was fundamental to the renewal of interest in decoration and their designs have become an iconic documentation of change from the 1980s until today.
Gate blanket is a graphic and stylish design in the striking color contrasts of parakeet green and buttermilk. The edges are stitched with a thick buttermilk colored yarn to protect the jacquard weave.
The ZigZagZurich Artist collections celebrate the applied arts and are woven in New Zealand wool. These blankets have been created in collaboration with a global roster of artists and ZigZagZurich to add something entirely Unique to your home.
