Mara Tschudi of Studio Surface Service has designed this wonderfully dramatic artwork for ZigZagZürichs artist collection.
The word „Sasso“ means stone in Italien as Tschudi was inspired by it’s material and abstract properties culminating in this graphic design. „I’m interested in a stone’s firmness and its weight; its place in the bed of a river or at the forest’s edge. This says something to me about belonging, about subtleness - which are things I think about when I apply colors. I aim to make them belong; I aim to make them saturated and clear in both their visual weight and final expression“ - Mara Tschudi
